1. Agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and Axa Technologies LLC, Lyndhurst, New Jersey 07071, USA ("Axa Technologies", "we", "us"). They apply when you use Axa Cards at card-generator.axa-technologies.com and its sign-in service. By creating an account or using Axa Cards, you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Axa Cards.
2. The service
Axa Cards lets you design business cards in your browser, save them to your account, and download them as images. It is currently free. We may add, change or remove features over time.
3. Your account
- You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
- The information you give us when signing up must be accurate.
- An account is for one person. Keep your password and authenticator app safe, and tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account.
- You are responsible for what happens in your account.
4. Your content
You own the cards you create and the text, logos and images you put on them ("your content").
You give us permission to store, copy, process and display your content only as needed to run Axa Cards for you, including keeping backups and earlier versions. This permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies in backups, which expire as described in our Privacy Policy.
You confirm that you have the right to use everything you put on your cards: names, contact details, logos, trademarks and images, including those belonging to other people or organizations.
5. Acceptable use
You must not use Axa Cards to:
- break any law, or help anyone else do so;
- impersonate a person or organization, or use their name, logo or trademark without permission;
- create cards for fraud, phishing or misleading anyone about who you are;
- infringe anyone's copyright, trademark or other rights;
- upload content that is hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, violent or otherwise harmful;
- upload malware or files designed to cause harm;
- access other people's accounts or data, or test, probe or get around our security, rate limits or storage limits;
- use scripts or bots to create accounts, generate cards in bulk or copy the service;
- resell or rebrand Axa Cards without our written permission.
6. Free plan and limits
Axa Cards is free. Each account currently includes:
- up to 50 uploaded images and 25 MB of image storage in total;
- images of up to 1 MB each;
- the last 20 saved versions of each card.
We may change these limits or add new ones, such as a maximum number of cards, and may introduce paid plans. Paid plans will come with their own terms, and we will never charge you without your agreement.
7. Our content
The Axa Cards software, templates and design, and the Axa Technologies name and logo, belong to us. You may use the templates in cards you create and use the cards you download for any lawful purpose, including your business. You may not copy or reproduce the service itself.
8. Availability and no warranty
Axa Cards is provided "as is" and "as available". We work to keep it running and your data safe, but we do not promise it will always be available, error-free or suitable for a particular purpose. Download the cards you need so you have your own copy. You are responsible for checking a card's details and how it prints before you use it.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for lost profits, data or business, arising from your use of Axa Cards. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to US$50. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived.
10. Suspending and closing accounts
You can stop using Axa Cards at any time. To delete your account, email info@axa-technologies.com from the address on your account.
We may remove content, or suspend or close an account, if it breaks these terms, puts other users or the service at risk, or exposes us to legal liability. Where reasonable, we will tell you first and explain why.
If we decide to discontinue Axa Cards, we will give you at least 30 days' notice so you can download your cards.
11. Changes to these terms
We will update the date at the top of this page when these terms change. If a change is significant, we will tell account holders by email or in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Axa Cards after that means you accept the new terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, USA. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protections of the laws of the country where you live.
